United Energy Successfully Signed The Romanian Photovoltaic Project Acquisition Agreement

On November 9, 2024, United Energy Group successfully held the signing ceremony of the Oltenita Photovoltaic project equity acquisition agreement in Bucharest, Romania.

The project is located in the southernmost part of Romania, with excellent light conditions, and is one of the key areas for solar energy development in the country. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Milaita Besteac, Mayor of Oltenita, and Dragan Florin, representative of the Power Grid Company. Mr. Hu Yantao, General Manager of Clean Energy Sector of United Energy Group, signed the agreement on behalf of the company. Members of the Group's clean energy sector project development, technology and legal team participated in the signing ceremony.

Following the operation of 99MW wind power project in Jimpur, Pakistan in 2017, the operation of 2.5MW photovoltaic project in Zone 9, Iraq in 2021, and the acquisition of Poly-Sime 250MW photovoltaic project in Bulgaria in 2024, the successful acquisition of Oltenita photovoltaic project in Romania, It marks another important milestone for United Energy in the global green energy layout.
