Ireland: Launch of The Second Phase of The 1-6MW Small-scale Renewable Power Support Programme

The Irish government has announced the second phase of the Small Scale Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (SRESS), which provides fixed tariffs for small scale solar and wind projects in six categories, ranging in size from 1MW to 6MW. Solar projects under 1MW will receive 150 euros /MWh, and projects between 1 and 6MW will receive 140 euros /MWh. For smes, the price for solar projects up to 1MW is 130 euros /MWh and for projects between 1-6MW, 120 euros /MWh.
