High and low temperature application of stainless steel fasteners

Adaptability in high temperature environment: According to the GB/T3098.6-2014 standard, stainless steel 304 and 316 products do not affect the tensile strength within 100 °C, but after the temperature exceeds 100 °C, the tensile strength decreases by 5% for every 100 °C increase in temperature. Not recommended for use above 400°C.

Low temperature environment adaptability: According to the GB/T3098.6-2014 standard, the minimum applicable temperature range of stainless steel 304 products is within -200℃, 316 bolts and screws and other products are only applicable within -60℃, and stud products are applicable within -200℃. The large amount of product deformation increases the risk of fracture.
