Recently, the channel 3 unit of the Dubai 950 MW photovoltaic thermal hybrid power Station project undertaken by China NENG Construction Hunan Thermal Power Station was successfully connected to the grid for the first time. The system status of the unit is normal, the quality is good, the operation is stable, and the parameters meet the requirements of the design and regulations.

The project is located in Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, covering a total area of 44 square kilometers, is the world's largest solar thermal + photovoltaic integrated power station project, using "one tower three slots + photovoltaic" solar power generation combination. The project is a typical demonstration project to implement the "Belt and Road" Initiative and achieve the goal of global "carbon neutrality".

When completed, the project will provide green energy to 320,000 homes and reduce carbon emissions by 1.6 million tonnes per year, making it an important part of Dubai's energy strategy to 2050.
