Adani Group Is Investing Rs 23 Lakh Crore in Renewable Energy

Indian Energy giant Adani Green Energy Ltd will invest about Rs 15 lakh crore in the Khavda project, a senior official said. The funding will be used to expand the solar and wind capacity of the project, located in the Chitchi district of the western Indian state of Gujarat, from the current 2 GW to 30 GW. In addition, the company will also invest Rs 5 lakh crore in other parts of India for the construction of similar projects with power generation capacity of 6 to 7 GW.
