We typically quote our stainless steel washers according to ASTM /DIN/JIS/GB standards, but will quote according to the specs you provide in your RFQ.We keep a complete variety of thicknesses in stock and can customize washers according to your unique needs. For washers .010 thick or under, we stamp them from full hard 301 stainless steel. Passivation, DFAR compliance standards, and DFAR certifications are available upon request.
Washers may also be used in rotating applications, as a bearing. A thrust washer is used when a rolling element bearing is not needed either from a cost-performance perspective or due to space restraints.
